Pekivo is built so your data stays on your Mac. This policy explains the little that ever leaves it.
Local processing
Everything you copy, inspect, format or view is processed locally on your Mac. Images are read with macOS on-device text recognition (OCR). Pekivo does not upload your images, clipboard contents, files, queries, logs or results. Copy writes the selected content to your macOS clipboard.
No clipboard history
Pekivo reads the clipboard only when you press its shortcut. Closing Quick Paste clears what it showed. Pekivo keeps no clipboard history.
No analytics or other API calls
Pekivo does not collect usage analytics and does not send your content to tracking services or AI APIs. There is no account and no sign-in.
Payments & licenses
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy in your browser; we never see your card details. When you activate a license, Pekivo sends your license key and your Mac’s name to the Lemon Squeezy License API. Removing an activation sends the license key and activation ID. Your copied content and results are never included.
Updates via GitHub
Checking for updates requests release information from GitHub. Update links open GitHub releases or downloads in your browser. These requests never include your clipboard contents, files, queries, logs or results.
This website
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log basic request data such as IP addresses. The site uses no cookies or analytics; it only stores your chosen theme in your own browser.
